Hello, my name is Starla!

I am so excited that you stopped by my website! You can read about my quilting journey and get all the details about me quilting your quilt as you browse the website but here I’ll just tell you a little bit about myself.

• Planning, creating and organizing are some of my favorite things to do.

• I’ve been a night owl for my entire life…I’d much rather work late into the night than get up early in the morning!

• I’ve sewn everything from my wedding dress, matching dresses for my girls, bags, quilts, wall hangings, drapery, upholstery but one thing I rarely do is mending…anything on that pile has been known to stay there until the person forgets they ever owned it!

• Hiking and biking with Stu, my husband of 33 years, are what you will find us doing in our spare time…but I enjoy it most when its not too cold OR too hot!

• Can’t lie, my favorite times usually include my 4 grown daughters and their significant others!

• I love a challenge and learning new things!

• Looking forward to meeting you and your quilts!
